  • Online Course Curriculum Assistant

    • Time Commitment: 5-10 hours per week.

    • Description: Supports instructors in developing and updating online course materials. This role is vital for enriching courses with diverse and engaging resources.

  • Online Tutor/Mentor

    • Time Commitment: 3-8 hours per week, flexible scheduling.

    • Description: Provides academic support and guidance, helping students overcome challenges and fostering a supportive online learning community.

  • Accessibility Specialist

    • Time Commitment: 4-6 hours per week.

    • Description: Works to make course content accessible to all students, ensuring compliance with accessibility standards and promoting inclusivity.

    • Time Commitment: 4-8 hours per week.

  • Online Admissions Assistant

    • Time Commitment: 5-10 hours per week during peak admission periods.

    • Description: Assists prospective students through admissions, providing vital information and support.

  • Student Coordinator / Translator

    • Time Commitment: 4-8 hours per week.

    • Description: The student coordinator/translator facilitates effective communication and engagement for non-English-speaking students by translating academic materials and school policies and assisting with real-time language interpretation during meetings and events. This role supports the organization and coordination of student activities, ensuring an inclusive educational environment that respects and celebrates linguistic diversity. The Student Coordinator / Translator acts as a key liaison, offering personalized guidance and support to enhance the academic experience for all students.

  • Online Student Orientation Leader

    • Time Commitment: 2-4 hours per week at the start of each term.

    • Description: Welcomes new students and facilitates their introduction to online learning platforms and resources.

 

Content and Media Roles

  • E-Learning Content Developer

    • Time Commitment: 5-10 hours per week.

    • Description: Creates interactive and multimedia content for courses, requiring creativity and basic editing skills.

  • Social Media Assistant/Specialist

    • Time Commitment: 3-5 hours per week.

    • Description: The school's online presence is enhanced by managing social media content and engagement.

  • Graphic Design Assistant

    • Time Commitment: 4-6 hours per week.

    • Description: Produces graphic materials for course content and marketing, contributing to the visual appeal of online offerings.

Operational Support Roles

  • Online Library Assistant

    • Time Commitment: 2-4 hours per week.

    • Description: Supports the management of digital resources, aiding in the accessibility of educational materials for students.

President or Chancellor

Description: The chief executive officer acts as the chief executive officer, overseeing all academic and administrative operations. The executive sets strategic direction, ensures financial stability, and represents the university externally. The executive reports to The Board of Trustees or Board of Directors.

 

Vice President of Academic Affairs/Provost

Description: The chief academic officer is responsible for the integrity and excellence of the university's academic endeavors. He or she oversees program development, academic policies, and faculty affairs and reports to the President or Chancellor.

 

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Description: Manages financial operations, including planning, budgeting, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Plays a key role in strategic financial decision-making. Reports to the president or Chancellor.

Vice President of Student Affairs

Description: Enhances student life and supports student success through services like advising career support, and extracurricular activities. Develops policies that foster a positive and inclusive student experience. Reports to the president or Chancellor.

Chief Information Officer (CIO)

 

Description: This position leads technology strategy and manages IT resources to support educational and operational objectives. It also ensures the security of digital information and reports to the president or Chancellor.

 

Director of Online Education

Description: Oversees online program quality and innovation. Collaborates with faculty to design and implement engaging online courses. Ensures programs meet diverse learner needs and accreditation standards. Reports to: Vice President of Academic Affairs/Provost.

Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

Description: Directs marketing and communication efforts to strengthen the university's brand and attract students. Oversees advertising, digital marketing, and public relations—reports to the president or Chancellor.
